netrek.exe is a standard netrek executable

netrekp.exe is a PORTSWAP enabled executable. This one should allow you to
play through a firewall. Although it does require some server support.
Right now the only server that works reliably is pickled.fox.cs.cmu.edu.

If neither of these work try changing tryUdp to off in the xtrekrc.

----

There are three styles of planet bitmaps.

planlibr.dll - Rabbit ear bitmaps
planlibb.dll - Bronco style bitmaps
planlibm.dll - Moo style bitmaps

To use, simply copy the bitmap library that you desire over the planlib.dll file.

i.e. If you prefer bronco style:
copy planlibb.dll planlib.dll

Default is bronco style.
